great end to a great series

This is the final part of the series and it was an absolutely brilliant end to a series I have loved reading. It was a fantastic love story that I will read and reread and never get bored of reading because of the fantastic characters and the story they tell.

The main characters again in this are again Callie and Dean, they have had a fallen out due to the events at the end of the last part in these series of books. They in this book are really quite apart and it looks as though they’ll never get together but that is the great thing about these books is that they leave the best till the very last minute. Even if it takes Callie turning her life on its axis and making an attempt to change herself to realise that Dean is the guy for her. In this book the two main characters are actually seen to be at war with each other as they discover their own faults as well as the faults in each other.

The secondary characters as always are Jinny and Emmet, Jinny in this book is very much caught in the middle between the two main characters. She does however refuse to take sides other than wanting both of their happiness and tries to point them in the right direction and let them know when they’re doing wrong.

The pacing in this book is fantastic leaving us until the very last minute to give us what we really want to hear.

The storyline throughout this whole series is original and great fun to read; it is a series of books with a storyline I have loved reading and I will most definitely look out for other books by the same author.

In this third book we see the couple struggle with the existing pretend relationship and their real feelings for each other. This book is an excellent addition to what is turning out to be a great series.

The main characters are again Callie and Dean, in this book both of them are on the same page in terms of what they're feeling for each other. However with the added complication of the lie made up in the last book to help Callie realise her feelings for Dean. Then there's Maya who now wants Dean back as was the basis of the lie. To sum up this book it's a love note between Callie and Dean with a lot of things in the way of their potential relationship. I have even more love for this couple and now feel emotionally invested in their relationship.

The secondary characters are the same as before with both Jinny and Emmet offering advice and giving the main characters a helping hand in reaching happiness throughout the book. Jinny seems to be very focused on making sure both main characters know exactly what has happened leading up to where they are now. Whereas Emmet seems to be quietly aware that all he wants is for the two main characters to be together and be happy.

The pacing is great pointing the story in one direction all the way through then twisting us in the opposite direction at the very last minute.

The story line is great and original leading us perfectly from the previous book to the next one flawlessly. This story is one that has been perfectly planned to keep readers wanting to read more about these great characters.

I'm going to miss Dean and Callie.
By What's Beyond Forks?
Crediting Callie Part 4, previously titled Claiming Callie Part 4, is the final installment in a serial novel by Paige Rion. The truth is all coming out...finally!! Callie will know everything! All should be right in the world right? You know it's never that easy. This was such a cute story, and I really grew to love these characters. I yelled at both of them quite a bit, especially Dean, but I couldn't put it down. This final part wrapped everything up nicely. I'm going to miss Dean and Callie.

Marina Alexander is a rescue expert called to a cave collapse and things only get more interesting from there! This is the second Marina Alexander book and I find that I just can't put them down! The excitement and suspense make this one of those books you stay up late to read. You don't want to do anything except find out what happens next.

Marinas family is a bit different than yours or mine. They are the Skaladeskas. They worship Gaia, or mother earth, as if she were a benevolent being. And they will stop at nothing to prevent her continued destruction. Even eco-terrorism. I want more! What happens with the characters? New and old? I can't wait for the next book. Marina is one tough lady.

Colleen Gleason is a very talented writer. She can draw you in and make you care what happens to her characters. She can make you wish the book was longer and shorter in the same instant. You want get to tell you what halogens but not too fast! You want to know how things play out, but she leaves you with just enough of a question that you must get the next book. Highly recommended! 5 out of 5 starts for me!

Fantastic Read

This was a real page turner of a book and I couldn't put it down! There was suspense enough to keep me hooked and coming back for more .......and more! The mystery/science was haunting and raised my consciousness of many issues in the world today while the story line kept me hopeful for the future. There was romance too.....But it was subtle and it never overtook the story and left me waiting to see what might happen in a future episode! This book was a second in a series but was easily read as a stand alone book ..... - however, don't miss the first book - Siberian Treasure - if you want another great read! Have read several of this author's books in other genres and really like her style of writing!

A great sequal to Siberian Treasure!

I enjoyed the second Marina Alexander adventure just as much as the first adventure, Siberian Treasure. I liked how everything was taking place at once, all over the world, and how Ms. Gleason was able to pull it all together, just as she did in the first book, to weave the story. I enjoyed the characters that continued into the sequal as well as an important new edition to this book, Dr. Sanchez. I look forward to seeing what the next adventure for Marina will be. Will will she be forced to become part of the Skaladeska tribe and be able learn what historical mysteries are hidden the the Skaladeska library? Or will she be able to help the Skaladeskas voice be heard, in a non terrorist way, and be able to unlock the hidden mysteries that the ancient library holds?

The straw-man that Darby invented dispensationalism will disappear in 20 years

Fantastic, groundbreaking, vastly important work!! Watson sheds a new light on the correct origins of many elements of dispensationalism that pre-date John Nelson Darby. The straw-man that Darby invented dispensationalism will disappear in 20 years. Nearly every theology textbook will have to be revised due to Dr. Watson's research. I had the pleasure of hearing him lecture on this topic recently and was impressed. I'm still reading the book, but it is groundbreaking!

Serious students of eschatology need to read this

William Watson provides a wonderful resource full primary evidence that futuristic premillennialism does not originate with Darby. The book offers a panoply of source after source making the same case--that Darbys system was nothing new. Most interesting were the quotes from many English Puritans and a good number of Westminster divines who held firmly to a futuristic plan for the people (and nation) of Israel. Watson's book makes a very strong case as well as a rebuttal to the dismissive theological urban legend that dispensationalism is solely the brainchild of Darby. Serious students of eschatology will benefit from this work.

Dispensationalism deals with God's timing of events in the world. Author Dr. William C. Watson's work, ergo, refines the order upon which man's perception of God's timeline was advancing in the two centuries before John Nelson Darby.

Darby is the man erroneously credited by others, not himself, with initiating the teaching of the imminent, or any moment, Rapture.

"Dispensationalism Before Darby" provides a crucial compendium of documented 17th and 18th century sources to immolate the proposed error that Darby was responsible for concocting the imminent Rapture doctrine in the early 19th century.

Establishing a veritable literary fusillade of testimony supporting the teaching of the imminent Rapture doctrine during the 17th and 18th centuries, obviously pre-dating John Nelson Darby, this weighty tome offers hours of detailed, pleasurable reading for all concerned.

Truly, Nelson is credited with formulating "classical dispensationalism" by scholars such as Dr. Ed Hindson, Dean & Distinguished Professor of Religion, School of Religion, Liberty University.

However, Hindson declares, "...Watson plows new ground in researching the history of eschatological thought prior to the nineteenth century."

Certainly, some few Bible Scholars familiar with Matthew Henry, publishing his famed commentary a century before Darby, are aware that Henry's commentary records Matthew's own support of the imminent Rapture stance. Strangely, most of those allowing Henry's commentary to gather dust on their overladen library shelves do not.

Thus, importantly, this volume eradicates the claim that Darby inspired the teaching.

Significantly, this line of thought is highlighted when one considers the Rapture, by all of these witnesses from the centuries leading up to Darby, was at that time viewed as 'imminent' !

Harrowing and comprehensive academic paper

In this harrowing and extremely comprehensive digest,presented as a academic paper, Lloyd Sachikonye presents his finding about political violence and state terror in Zimbabwe.
starting with the internecine violence between the ZANU and ZAPU movements in 1963 and 1964, following through the Rhodesian Bush War/Zimbabwe War of Liberation and the tortures perpetrated both by Rhodesian forces and by the ZANU and ZAPU leadeship on it's dissidents.
In 1975 Mugabe visited a torture camp and seeing a badly beaten and tortured ZANU dissident pleeing for mercy told him he deserved it. The man has been torturing and killing people since the 1960s. The book continues through the ethnic genocide of the Ndebele between 1982 and 1987 known as the Gukharundi in which over ten thousand Ndebele innocents were butchered by the North Korean trained Fifth Brigades.

But it mainly focuses on the terror, torture and fraud perpetrated by Mugabe and his ZANU PF to hang on to power since facing a the popularity of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change led by Morgan Tsvangirai. In 2007 Mugabe boasted that he had ordered the police to brutally beat Tsvangirai in police detention. Mugabe has continuously posted of having a 'degree in violence' and expressed scorn for any democratic change of power stating 'Should our struggle be cancelled by the stroke of a pen?' The book finally analyses used terror and fraud to steel the 2008 election which would certainly have resulted in a democratic regime change had it been free and fair. and the massive terror aimed at Zimbabwe's population in the years following. He has been supported in this by the regimes of South Africa, Iran, China, North Korea, Venezuela and Cuba in this

These are my all time favorite books for little ones

Another darling BabyLit book! These are my all time favorite books for little ones, I have gifted hundreds at baby showers over the years and they are always a hit! Les Miserables is no exception, such a lovely way to introduce my little ones to the novel and give them a touch of French too. The concept is brilliant, the illustrations are lovely, I love the newest addition to the BabyLit collection!

How cute is this series? I love it. My son is 13 months and we read these together all the time. I especially loved the Les Mis. Book because instead of just one word descriptions like some of the baby pit books, it gives and English sentance and a French sentence side by side making it easy to learn.

Best BabyLit yet!

This is my favorite BabyLit book so far! We have a couple of others that are basically picture books with two word descriptions (pink flamingo, five sisters). I wish those had more of a story line. This one actually has phrases, first in English, then in French ("The priest walks in his garden") that have to do with the novel.
